I currently work at a High School, We are getting ready to negotiate a new contract. Looking for info to support a pay increase. We all had to complete EIPA and parapro. If anyone can give us any ideas and to what other terps. make please let me know.

Compare other high schools in your area who have a DHH program. See what they are paying their Interpreters and go from there. Bring proof of what the other districts are paying, ex: job description. The more proof you bring to them, the better it is for you and the other interpreters. And also have ready a copy of your current job descrition. If you guys are doing more then what is stated in your job description the increase for pay should be considered. Good Luck!
