Great News:} we one the first battle:} it rained hard off and on, but we stayed there til after three. there was a lot of people there. they walked around the building 7 times, don't know what they shouted, but GOD heard, and the men are free. unfortunately, the prayer issue will come up again in Dec. this one is, whether people will be able to pray in school , restaraunts, or in public. the other one is whether gay people can addopt. I don't know when that starts but its coming up. I do have one thing to say about prayer. if ACLU wins, we as christians, better stand for Christ, no matter what. I don't know how it will effect interpreters, which right now, I would rather be signing, than talking. I been online alot lately, trying to find a school that has sign language as a course, so far there aint none. it makes me cry, because they have other languages, but not the important one. if anyone wants to find out what the ACLU is doing, I think its: http://www.ACLU.com. their the ones that are trying to cause havoc with people.

hi:} just wanted to let you know that about 10 of us from church went to the court house this morning. there was about 300-400 peoople there protesting. they had two sides. everone holding a sign was on the grass, and others were in front of the court house. Mr.Lay and Mr.Freeman and their wives arrived aruond 8:45. at one point, people walked around the building 7 times. it rained alot, but we stayed til 3 something. the men were still in court. we pray that the ACLU doesn't win, cause if they do, it will happen to anyone:{ our pastor saids he may be next. now about me. I tried 2 online colleges. both don't have sign language as a course. the last man I talked to said that while he was in college, there was a deaf student, a young lady who had an interpreter who went to all her classes, if she hadn't had an interpreter, she probably would not make it.

today, I was on the phone with a man from the university of phenix. he asked me what courses I was interested in. I said' you're not going to believe this, sign language'. he said they did'nt offer that, but he new of programs that did. I than went to a different university, which was recommended. I chatted with him online. they didn't offer it neither. my question was'WHY NOT'? answer, it is visual. my answer; it is visual, but you also need clear signs, which are changing. I went in my bedroom and cried. people don't see what I've seen. there's language disk out there ( except sign language ) LEARN A LANGUAGE IN 10 DAYS. it really hurts when there's a burden and you feel like no one cares. I need a mentor:}

Laura, I don't know, I do know however that ACLU, and the Christian Liberty is involved. the ACLU is against any kind of prayer, and this new group, is for our constitutional liberty. they think this all started with a teenager committting suicide. she came into the school all decked in percing ears, etc. she was dismissed from school, and her mom has been after the principle becuase of it. and if the ACLU wins, it will eventualy effect anyone that prays. I don't know if it will hurt people who only know sign language.

Regarding the issue about prayer. It's a terrible world we live in when one cannot pray. However, is there a forum that can be set up for this topic precisely? Then we can leave this one open for interpreting issues.
Thank you

I would like to talk further with Malissa Brooks about mentoring. I have some feedback for that, but was wondering if there was anyone in your area who you could connect with. Can you please post your information, and what specific things do you want to work on, and what are you currently doing towards those goals. Then we can all provide you with some feedback and to help you with a plan.

are we ready to face reality? this Thurs. many people from our church will be going to Pensacola. 2 men; a principle, and coach will be tried for praying in school.it was at a banquet, they blessed the food. now people in the school system are afraid to pray, there's even a book some schools have handed out, where children can't fold thier hands. pray etc., our piano player, Mrs'King asked what should she do, she takes care of her grandchildren. our pastor said' tell them to keep praying'. they can't legally stop them from praying:} PRAY FOR ALL INVOLVED THURS.:}

hi:} I would be interested in being a part of Terp Group:} I need support from others when it seems nothing is happening. there is an event that's coming up. 2 men from Pace High School will be going to court Thursday in Pensacola, they're charged with praying at a banquet at their school after signing a paper saying they wouldn't pray, anyway the ACLU ( which is against prayer ), and now christian liberty, who is for them, will meet then. this new group went to the judge and said that the mens constitutional rights to pray were violated. many teachers tried to get involved, but were not able to. our store will be closed that day, so we can bethere for the men:}
