At first, I started teaching myself when I was about 12 years old, with a book. Not the preferred method, of course, but I didn't have a choice. When I moved to Connecticut, I went to a new church. I got involved with their Deaf ministry, and learned more from real live people.

Well, right now I am an educational interpreter, so the options are limited. However, the various assignments from my Practicum over the summer of 2007 were intriguing.
