Profile Information

How did you first learn Sign Language?

High School assignment working a community service project with the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf. Fell in love with it and the rest is history. I've been with it for over.... well, a long time. I am now an adjunct professor teaching ASL at a community college as well coordinating the Deaf/HH program at another community college. I have the best interpreter "dream team" anyone could want!

I would hope that what I do is in the employment industry, but right now I am not sure if it is the best decision. Being that over half of the people in my household have struggled with unemployment as your wife. Thats an unfortunate situation to hear about, and I wish great luck to you two. Today will be a day full of sign language for me! I will be working with the Lou Fant Sign Language Phrase book and the Signing Naturally Level 2, and 3 Have a beautiful day Doug

Union Pa that is a huge gathering of christians and sevaral deaf attend ...... long story , short ...it is a GREAT time.... i hope you and yours have a great holiday season....... peace ...bye for now...... dave .
