- How did you first learn Sign Language?
- I first learned to sign when I was 8 years old from a deaf friend. His entire immediate and extended family is deaf. Thanks Johnnie!!! liiL
- What is your favorite type of interpreting assignment?
- I specialize in technical, scientific, performing arts, emergency medical, video relay and video remote interpreting. Outside of concerts and plays, my favorite assignment is one I do pro bono each week for an AA meeting. I'm also the Director of Staff Development at SLA and run the mentorship program. Any assignment working with another interpreter in a mentoring relationship is also a favorite assignment.
