I used to be certified in CPR, but it lapsed a long time ago. I think it is something that would be very helpful to many VIs. I know that when the 911 bell dings, it causes my stomach to jump. I would probably put myself at like a 5 on my knowledge…

How did you first learn Sign Language?
My best friend's family growing up was Deaf. I fell in love with the language and culture and from age 12, the rest was history.
Which ITP did you attend?
Maryville College Sign Language Interpreting Program
What is your favorite type of interpreting assignment?
Mental health.

I'm working for LifeLinks VRS and am very happy not to be a machine model interpreter....oh no she didn't...oh yes, she did!
