Unfortunately comments were turned off from the blog posting directly so I will simply reference it with a link here.
There is no fee for joining or using TerpLink. Your friend may have been talking about the costs associated with operating TerpLink which are about $100 a month, but I do not pass those on to members. Donations are accepted and appreciated, but there is no requirement.
